This week in English the children have been recapping knowledge about different sentence forms. They were writing statement, command, exclamation and question sentences based on our class short film; The Bridge. The children have also learned about the progressive form of verbs, and practised using the past progressive form in their writing.
Maths
This week in maths we have focussed on volume and capacity, as well as being able to read measurements in ML and L. The children have worked so hard at our measurement unit and we are really pleased with them.
On Tuesday, the children had a very exciting morning as we hosted an Infant Music Festival. We were joined by Year 2 children from Rainham Village and La Salette schools. The children enjoyed performing their song to the other children and made us feel very proud! Well done Year 2!
