Well done year 2 for working hard to complete your assessments this week! It was lovely to see so many parents attend shared learning on Wednesday helping to create bag tags for DT and have a go at building towers using spaghetti and marshmallows which links to our Towers, Tunnels and Turrets topic.
English
This week, the children have enjoyed writing their character descriptions about
Zog and completing their English assessments.
Maths
In Maths, we have looked at the 5x tables and completed their maths assessments.
Topic
In Science, we have continued investigating the different materials and considering which materials are most appropriate for the three pig’s houses and whether they are waterproof, wind proof or strong enough. We have also explored colour and pattern using watercolours in art.
We will also be participating in the Infant Music Festival on the 29
th April so if you could please practice these songs at home.
