Summer 1 Week 6

Well done for a brilliant half-term, Year 4!
This week, in Maths, we have come to the end of our unit on Time. I have been so impressed with the children's resilience and determination through this unit. The progress they have made during this time has been amazing and I am so proud of them. Next term, we will be looking at shape and co-ordinates.
In English, the children planned and then wrote the first and final drafts of their letter home from our 'holiday'. There were some fantastic pieces of writing, some which were creative and full of description. The children have made brilliant progress with their writing this year, and it is always a pleasure to read what they have written.
We also went on our school trip! Firstly, thank you so much to the parents who came on the trip and helped out- you were amazing! The children were very well behaved on the trip, both on the train journeys and walking around London. We had a great day, despite the weather!
