Summer 2 week 4 4S

27 Jun 2024

What a busy week we have had!

This week, the children have been completing their final assessments of year 4. They had two maths papers (arithmetic and reasoning), one GPS paper (grammar, punctuation and spelling), one reading comprehension paper and an unseen spelling test. I am so pleased with how well the children did! They have all made brilliant progress this year and I am so proud of them.

We also had some fun, doing lesosns such as PE, History, French, RE and Science. We have also been practising for our class assembly lots. Please don't forget to come and watch on Wednesday 3rd July at 9:15am if you are able to!

Finally, we had our school trip to Mountfitchet Castle! The children behaved well and we had a fantastic day. We learnt lots about Norman castles and we met lots of animals, too!

Tomorrow afternoon is Sports Day- we are looking forward to seeing the children perform a variety of different sports!

Happy weekend.
