Week 6 Autumn 2

This week it has been assessment week. The children have shown great resilience and have been dedicated to trying their best this week. This has been proven with great results in the Reading and Maths Arithmetic papers. Well done Year 4.
In our French lesson this week, we have been looking at body parts and how we can translate them from English to French. The children have shown a good understanding of this and were able to apply their knowledge in their independent work.
During our History lesson, we explored what happened when the Vikings first landed in Britain. We looked at the enquiry questions: Why did the Vikings want to invade Britain? What was life like for everyone in Britain when the Vikings arrived?
We have also had lots of fun making Christmas cards, practicing our Christmas Carols and doing lots of reading.
