Week 2 Spring 2

Well done Year 4 for another fantastic week.
In
Reading, the children continued reading the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe. We worked on inference, vocabulary and retrieval skills across our lessons, as well as building on our comprehension skills too. Today is World Book Day! What an amazing collection of costumes from our class, we were so impressed with the effort made. Well done Year 4!
In
Science, we started learning about out our new topic Electricity. The children made leaflets demonstrating how we can work safely with electricity, including do's and don'ts. Next week, we will be building our own circuits.
For Computing this week, we researched both USA state names/abbrievations and our chosen American Idol for our Biography writing. The children are getting very advanced in their reserach skills and imporving with their use of the Chrombooks. Well done Year 4.
