Well done year 4 for completing another week.
This week in English, we have carried on with our diary entry topic. The children planned their diary entry as April. They wrote about April’s day and how she went on her journey to find the bear. We have also worked on our time adverbial and past progressive tense skills.
In Maths we have continued with our fractions topics. We have learnt how to understand the whole count beyond , partition a mixed number, number lines with mixed numbers, compare and order mixed numbers.
In science this week, the children created their own paper straw harmonicas, shakers and rubber band guitars. They worked together to find out how to change the volume and the pitch of these instruments.
We have sent homework with the children today.

NO SWIMMING NEXT WEEK.
As always please ensure your child is reading and going on TTRS 5 times a week.
