1.12.25 - 5.12.25
04 Dec 2025
This week has been Assessment Week, and we are incredibly proud of Year 4 for trying their best and working so hard throughout.
In English, we have been planning and writing a setting description of Lizard Street from our class book Krindlekrax. The children used their five senses and expanded noun phrases to bring the setting to life.
In Maths, we revisited key learning from earlier in the year to help us feel confident and prepared for our assessments.
In DT, we explored different types of food packaging, focusing on how it protects the food inside. In Science, we compared a range of animal digestive systems to the human digestive system, discussing both similarities and differences. In Computing, we continued working on creating our very own podcasts, adding recordings to the scripts we drafted last week. To finish the week, we started practising our songs for the KS2 Christmas Concert and enjoyed decorating our classroom Christmas tree.
The children have been sent home with a homework sheet this week.
