Well done Year 4 for another great week. With the INSET day and having a supply teacher, you coped very well.
In Science, the children performed an experiment looking at dilution levels, and how that affects the type of bubble created. The children learnt new key vocabulary such as concentration, dissolving and solution.
During our Art lesson, the children painted their sketch of Boudicca. To complete it successfully, they had to make sure they mixed their colours correctly, and used the right amount of shade and tint for different areas of the portrait.
In Maths, the children completed their place value topic and performed well in their end of unit assessment. Next week, the children will begin their unit on addition and subtraction.
