Year 4S - Miss Stevens Class News

This week in maths, we finished learning about money. Children were confident with most areas but would benefit from some extra work at home with worded problems and working on finding change.

In English, we have started looking at persuasive writing and writing our very own riddles. The children really enjoyed this during home learning and it was lovely to see this enthusiasm in class.

On Thursday, all pupils at Brady took part in a cultural afternoon. We discussed as a class where/who we feel we belong with and what the word belonging means to us. Thank you for supply the images and other resources, the children really enjoyed learning a little more about their classmates. I have collated some of our work and photos onto a big sheet for our class. See image below alongside our Science Day pictures 😊
 
REMINDERS
Next week we will be completing our end of year assessments in reading, grammar, spelling, arithmetic and reasoning.
Next week is also our Sports Day 😊 On Thursday, the children will need to wear a t-shirt showing their house colour.
