Year 4 Update-
This week in year 4 we have enjoyed doing lots of new things for the first time. On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to spend our first afternoon in our brand new computing suite. We research facts about the Vikings and them turned these into wonderful posters. We also did some printing in art, over the last few weeks the children chose a Biking inspired design and then on Monday etched this into a polystyrene tile and printed their pattern into the books.
In maths we have just finished our topic on fractions and are starting to learn about Decimals. The children really enjoyed learning about fractions and are eager to apply this knowledge through our next topic.
Finally, in English this week the children have written wonderful stories all about Arthur and the Sword in the Stone.
