Miss Burgess 11/04

11 Apr 2020

Hi Year 4,

I hope you’re all keeping well and are staying safe at home. I have really enjoyed seeing all of your home learning that you have been doing over the past week! This week, I received a few more emails from you telling me what you have been up to…

Lucy has been very busy! She has been baking various delicious looking cakes, keeping active outside and has been staying up to date with her home learning pack.

Maisie and her sister have created some fantastic window art to show their support for the NHS and provide uplifing messages for the people in their community.

Harry has been working hard to create his own Rainbow Jar.

Rebecca has been practising her arithmetic knowledge by completing some tests at home.

Two-Weekly Challenge by Miss Burgess
By completing each challenge, you can earn house points which I will keep track of to be added when we return to school. You may complete 1 or all 3 challenges but photo evidence must be sent to my email address above to earn these points 😊 As this should be your Easter holidays you can work on these challenges over the next two weeks.
  1. Write a book review.
    5 House Points

Read a book and design a beautiful book review for our new classroom! (A4 or smaller)
  2. Be active!
    4 House Points

At the moment the weather is beautiful! Try and be active for atleast 30 mins each day, if the weather is nice and you can get outside do some skipping, running or go for a walk. If the weather takes a turn for the worse or you cannot get outside look
at taking part in the Joe Wicks PE sessions or Cosmic Kids Yoga on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/user/CosmicKidsYoga    https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1
  3. Get creative!
    3 House Points

Make something, paint something or draw something. It could be Easter related or something totally from your imagination. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
I hope you and all of you families are staying safe at home. Please don’t hesitate to email for any further support or guidance 😊
Have a fantastic bank holiday weekend.
