Road Trip USA
Our new topic this term is Road Trip USA. Children will learn about North America continent, its countries and geographical features. We also will learn about electricity and the ways it is produced.
Maths
This week, year 4 were finding the perimeter of square and rectangle. We also learned how to work it out the area. Children looked at different ways the area and perimeter could be calculated.
Literacy
This week, year 4 children learned about informal emails and their structure. Children discussed in groups what makes an interesting and informative email.
Geography and Science
Children used atlases to find out the different states in USA.
During the science lessons, we found out where the electricity does comes from and how is it produced. Children watched different videos and had various discussions.
