Maths
This week, year 4 children have been converting length and weight units. We converted mm to cm, km to m, cm to m and others. We discussed what measure units were used in the past too.
Literacy
Children were gathering the information for their article and practising how to write witness statement. We also looked at different sentence structures and suitable language for the newspaper article.
Geography
Year 4 children sketched a map and labelled the forts, castles, cities used by the Saxons.
History
During this week, we learned about Anglo-Saxon religion and how they became Christians. We looked at the famous monks and their impact to the British history.
