Maths
Children have been finding fractions of amounts and solving problems that involve different fractions. We discussed how to work out the same problem in different ways.
Literacy
This week, year 4 children were acting out the legend ‘Sword in a stone’ and retelling the main events. Also, children described the main character, Merlin, and drew a map with detailed description of legend setting.
Geography
We learned about the Anglo-Saxons and what parts of Britain they invaded. Children labelled the map with Anglo-Saxon kingdoms.
History
Year 4 children made timelines in their groups and discussed what happened in Britain after the Roman invasion.
