We are Newspaper Reporters

This week we have been looking at the features of a Newspaper Report and have attempted to write our own newspaper article. We have travelled back in time and interviewing soldiers on battlefield near Hastings in the year 1066.

In Maths we have been finding a fraction of an amount, which is not too difficult when you are finding 1/3 or 1/5 of a number but it is trickier finding 2/3 or 4/5.

The children have really enjoyed their swimming sessions and we have had a couple of funny moments. Fortunately, we noticed that several children were still wearing their underwear beneath their swimming costumes. Thank goodness we caught them before they got into the pool!
