Well done for another good week, 4S.
This week, in Reading, we finished reading our class novel King of the Cloud Forest. The children have loved this book, and have been very engaged with it. They have done well developing their vocabulary, inference and explanation skills whilst reading this text. They have also writeen informative and detailed book reviews, all about their experience reading this book.
In RE, we have been learning all about different types of worship, including pilgrimages and prayer. We have been looking in more detail at Hinduism and Judaism, comparing the similarities and differences between the two religions, and also exploring their 'map of life' too.
In Science, we have been enjoying learning all about electricity. The children have been learning about the different components in a series circuit, and have even had a go at creating their own circuits! They have shown good understanding of what is needed to ensure that a circuit works properly.
