Autumn 2 Week 4

24 Nov 2023

Well done for another great week, 4S.

In Science, we have continued looking at the human digestive system in more detail. The children have been really enjoying this topic, and have been very sensible when discussing some new vocabulary! We have been looking at the different organs involved with the digestive system, the function of each of them and the order of which the food travels.

For our Enlglish lessons, the children have been researching all about teeth. They have been doing this in preparation for writing a non-chronological report all about the different types of teeth, why we have them and what we use them for.

This week we have also continued with our novel Rumblestar in reading. We are up to chapter 7 now, and the children have made good inferences about the characters, learnt new vocabulary and ordered events from the novel chronologically.

Have a good weekend.
