Week 2 Summer 2

19 Jun 2023

This week, we have been working very hard doing our final assessments in Year 4. The children completed a GPS, Reading, Spelling, Arithmetic and Reasoning paper. They did very well in most papers and should be very proud of themselves.

We also completed some work in our foundation subjects. In Science, we have been learning all about deforestation, and the negative impact that can have on us humans and the animals/environment too. We also had a History lesson, looking at the events that took place in the year 1066, following the death of Edward the Confessor.

On Friday, we went on our school trip to Mountfitchet Castle. The children were fantastically behaved, and were a credit to the school. We had a brilliant day exploring the castle grounds, feeding the animals and learning all about how life was in the Norman era.

We hope you had a lovely weekend.
