Week 5/6

26 May 2023

Another great two weeks in Year 4.

In Maths, we have continued with our topic on Time. The children have perservered and shown great resilience through this topic. Some of the children who were not confident at the beginning of the unit, have really improved in their time-telling skills and in their confidence levels.

For our RE lessons, we have been looking at Hinduism and Judaism in more detail, exploring areas such as prayer, pilgrimages and places of worhsip. The children really enjoyed learning about different religions, and showed a good understanding when comparing the similarities and differences.

In English, the children wrote their final drafts of their balanced argument, debating whether children should or should not have to wear school uniform. There were some fantastic pieces of writing with some brilliant ideas on both sides of the argument.

Last week, we went on our delayed school trip to London! We had a fantastic day and the children were so well behaved- they were all fantastic role models and presented Brady Primary School in the best way.

Have a lovely half term!
