Week 4 Summer 1

Well done for another great week Year 4.
In Maths, we have finished our topic on Money. The children have done very well, considering that physical money is not used as frequently in day-to-day life anymore, they have done well at recognsing the different coins and solving problems using money.
During our Reading lessons, we have continued reading Alice in Wonderland. The children are really enjoying the novel, and have done very well with learnign and understanding new vocabulary. We have also been working on our explanation and summary skills too.
The children really enjoyed having an extra swimming session this week! The progress they have made throughout this term with their swimming sessions has been amazing: they have improved in both confidence and ability and we are so proud of them.
