Week 3 Spring 3

Well done for another great week Year 4.
In
English, the children completed their final drafts of their letters home from our 'holiday'. We had some beautiful pieces of writing, with many including expanded noun phrases, similes and written in Standard English.
We started a new
DT topic called 'fancy fabrics'. We spent our first lesson looking at all different types of fabrics, and what fabrics we would use for different items. This included denim, cotton, felt and wool.
In we began building our very own circuits! The children were very excited but were very responsible and showed a good understanding of how to correctly create a circuit with either a bulb, buzzer or both.
