Week 2 Spring 2

Well done for another fantastic week 4S.
In Science, we started our new topic 'Electricity'. We explored how you can be safe when using electricity. The children showed great understanding of the dangers that come with electricity, and were very sensible with their reasoning and choices.
During our RE lesson, we took a trip around the school, including into EYFS. We were looking at the Jewish teaching 'Tikkun Olam', which means 'world repair'. We discussed beforehand how we could repair our world in terms of looking after our environment, and also showing kindness/respect to other people.
We had a brilliant World Book Day on Thursday, with some amazing costumes being worn by the children! I loved that some of them came dressed as a character from a book that we have read together in class.
