Week 6 Autumn 1

14 Oct 2022

One more week until half term...

This week in Reading, the children have been reading a non-fiction text called Animal Conflicts. They have been learnign all about different animals and why they may have disputes with one another. We researched new vocabulary, and created fact files about what we had learnt.

In RE, we have been studying Judaism. The children have shown a real aptitude for learning towards other religions and cultures. We have been looking at different Jewish customs and traditions, including what a day in the life of a Jewish child would be like. We did some role play to help us imagine this.

For our Computing lesson, we completed some research on a prominent Black figure, in tune with Black History Month. They children researched about Barack Obama, Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks and more important figures in Black History.

Have a lovely weekend.
