Week 6 Summer 2

15 Jul 2022

One more week to go!

This week, the children have been finishing a number of units across all different subjects.
This includes Position and Direction in Maths. The children have had a fantastic undertsanding of co-ordinates and can successfully move and draw on a grid.

In English, the children created leaflets all about responsible dog ownership. The children in the school who own a dog were very helpful in sharing their top tips and advice to other children about how to care for a dog and what you need before deciding to adopt one.

In Science, the children have been learning all about water pollution, and how they can reduce their own water consumption. This includes both at school and home, espeically in the warmer weather.

Please do not forget that, due to the extreme heat, the children will be going home at 2pm on Monday and Tuesday next week.

Stay safe and have a lovely weekend.
