We are nearing the end of Year 4 and the children have been working very hard.

In English we have been writing a narrative based on a video called 'The Present'. The children have done well to inderstand the concept of a 'change of heart'. We aimed to include front adverbials and speech in our narratives, which most of the children did successfully.

We recapped some of our favourite songs that we have learnt in Music this year, and had a good sing-song to them. Mamma Mia, Valerie and Blackbird came out on top!

In French, the children have been learning new vocabulary in the context of describing themselves and other people. This has included eye/hair colour, heights and personality. The childern all try very hard in their French lessons with Mrs Wall.

Attached are some pictures from the last few weeks in class, including Multicultural Day, sewing and sports day.
