Week 6 Summer 1

Just like that we are at the end of another half term.
In English this week, the children finished their unit on Balanced Arguments by writing their final pieces, and there were some extraordinary pieces of writing created. Some fantastic arguments put forward for debates such as the Christmas vs Summer holidays and Games vs Films.
In Maths, the children have continued learning to tell the time, as well as looking at days, weeks, months and years. The progress that the children have made with this topic has been amazing and we are so, so proud of their resilience.
For Reading, the children have focussed on their explanation, prediction and inference skills this week. The children performed some excellent pieces of drama, focussing on how each character would speak and their expression.
