Week 6 Spring 1

10 Feb 2022

Our final week of Spring 1!

Well done Year 4 on a brilliant term, you have worked so hard.

This week in History, the children were continuing to learn about the Anglo-Saxons, as well as the life and reign of King Athelstan. The children produced some lovely profiles with facts all about him.

In Computing, the children carried out research about an Inspirational Figure that they had learnt about in RE. The children looked at the work of Sir David Attenborough, Bill Gates, Colin Kaepernick and many more. Well done Year 4.

For English this week, the children completed their final Playscript pieces. We were completely blown away by the standard of the writing produced. An amazing acheivement by everyone in 4S, well done. We will act some of our Playscripts out after half term!

Finally, in Reading, the children created pieces of drama, predicting what they thought had happened to one of the main characters in our book. They were brilliant, showcasing both the children's predicting and acting skills!

Well done for all of your hard work this term 4S. Have a lovely break!
