This week in
Maths the children have been continuing to learn about mutiplication and division. We explored the 3 times table, and looked at how we can use that knowledge to answer both reasoning and problem solving questions.
In our
English lessons, we have been learning about subordinating conjunctions, as well as writing in the present tense. The children were able to recognise the difference between co-ordinating conjunctions and subordinating conjunctions. Well done Year 4.
For
Science, we explored the difference between vertebrate and invertebrate animals. The children are becoming excellent scientists, and were able to distinguish between the two and tell me why they knew an animal was either a vertebrate or invertebrate.
