Week 3

24 Sep 2021

In English this week, the children wrote their final Character Description of Boudicca. They all did very well, and have produced some fantastic pieces of writing.

The children have shown real resilience in Maths this week, whilst tackling some tricky topics. They did very well in ordering numbers, rounding to 1,000 and comparing 4 digit numbers.

Furthermore, in History this week, the children looked at what it would be like to have a 'Day in the Life' of a Gladiator. Using the information that they learnt, the children wrote some fantastic fact files and diary entries on this.

The highlight for this week in 4S has been our Art lesson. The children were focussing on their proportion skills in sketching a portrait of Boudicca. The children all tried their very best, and some amazing pieces of Art work were created. Attached below are a few examples.

Thank you for your continued support. We are looking forward to learning Roman numerals and improving our painting skills next week.
