Miss Burgess Update 2/7/21

This week in maths, we have been learning about Money. The children have work really hard and applied their knowledge of decimals brilliantly to help them all secure their understanding of this topic.
In English, we have focused on grammar this week ahead of upcoming testing. We have revisited fronted adverbials, apostrophes for contractions and possessive pronouns.
Finally, this week the children loved our Science Day (pictures to come next week). They loved learning about Hertha Aryton and her life, we also completed an experiment where we used a motor in a series circuit to make a spinner.
