Miss Burgess Update 16/04

16 Apr 2020

Home Learning

I have really enjoyed seeing all of your home learning that you have been doing over the past week!

After making his rainbow jar, Harry has added in some things he would like to do including playing with his friends and going out for lunch with his family.

Daisy has been keeping up to date with her pack and has just purchased her own bee hive so she will soon have her own honey!

Lucy has made and decorated her own beautiful rainbow jar.

Lacey has been working hard completing many of her home learning activities and has even learned how to send me an email all by herself. She has been reading LOTS and making use of the lovely weather outdoors. Lacey will be sending through some photos of her work this week which I am eager to see.

Keep an eye on the school website next week for Home Learning Pack 2 😊

Weekly Challenge by Miss Burgess
Each will I will be setting 3 optional challenges for you to do at home. By completing each challenge, you can earn house points which I will keep track of to be added when we return to school. You may complete 1 or all 3 challenges but photo evidence must be sent to my email address above to earn these points 😊
  1. Become a photographer
    5 House Points

Ask your adult to borrow their phone and take a photo of something you like. Email it to me and explain what the picture is and why you like it.
  2. Emoji Challenge
    4 House Points

Look at the picture below, can you work out the 20 famous children’s books? Email me your answers.
  3. Handwriting
    3 House Points

Practise your best handwriting by writing part of your favourite book or some lyrics to your favourite song.
I hope you and all of you families are staying safe at home. Please don’t hesitate to email for any further support or guidance 😊
