Romford Town Swimming Club has been providing a swim school in the London Borough of Havering and surrounding communities since its inauguration on the 16th of September 1900. We take pride in our family atmosphere and remain dedicated to providing the highest level of coaching from Learn to Swim to international competitive swimmers.
· We work to create a strong, yet friendly environment for competitive swimmers to thrive in. Along the way, we endeavor to build and develop swimmers’ techniques, whilst enhancing life and teamwork skills.
We would love to be able to support the broader community with access to learning to swim so we are offering all children who go to school in Havering a 10% discount on their first term with us. We also provide a free trial to make sure the children are comfortable in the sessions.
Swim England recently conducted a study and found
· More than 3.4m children in England unable to perform basic swimming moves
· 96% of those aged seven to 11 can't swim 100m or tread water for 30 seconds
· millions of children who take to the water are at risk of drowning because they are not taught novice skills
· Missed hours of valuable lessons in pandemic
Our children, some of which may already be at your school, have all shown remarkable resilience over the last 3 years and are now coming to see that hard work pay off.
