Year 3 Summer Term Week 1 - Home Learning
23 Apr 2020
Hi everyone,
I hope you and your families are keeping well and enjoyed your Easter break as much as you could during this unusual time. I have added a few links below should you want additional/different activities to complete at home.
https://www.twinkl.co.uk/home-learning-hub

https://www.literacyshed.com/home.html
Maybe you could watch this fun meerkat clip and complete some of the following activities:
https://www.literacyshed.com/catchit.html
- Tell the story from a meerkat's point of view.
- Describe the beautiful setting of the African plains.
- Create some dialogue between the meerkats at various points in the film.
- Create some commentary for the 'rugby' scene at the end of the film – you could use iMovie to record this commentary over the top of the original film.
- Write show not tell sentences about the events and feelings of the meerkats and vulture throughout different points of the clip.
I would love to see how creative you can be with these activities! Once you have finished your work, send it to me at sosullivan@brady.havering.sch.uk
