Year 3 Home Learning Update 15/05/20

15 May 2020

Hi everyone,

It looks as though we will be learning from home for a little longer but hopefully we will all see each other soon.

I have added another home learning pack to keep you busy while you’re at home. You can find it on the school website. Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any queries or need help.

Some updates from your friends…

Stanley has had another busy week learning from home! Stanley has been doing lots of work on fractions. He has also been learning about the history of VE day, listening to stories of his own family members who were in the war and watching videos on YouTube. Stanley also had a VE Day garden party and played in his pool.

Millen and Taylor have been writing a diary entry as a character called Lila, thinking about her thoughts and feelings throughout her journey in the story. They have been learning about money, had a VE Day street party (remembering social distancing of course!) and baked cakes and scones. They have also been going on bike rides and used junk modelling to make their own arcade games.

Keri has been completing her home learning pack and has particularly enjoyed learning to tell the time on digital and analogue clocks. She has been learning about VE day and has also been a brilliant big sister, teaching her little sister to ride her bike without stabilizers.
