Year 3 Week 3

This week we have been continuing to focus on writing a narrative. The children have been planning and writing a draft of the story. They have paid particular attention to editing their writing. Next week is assessment week.
Maths
The children have been recapping using written methods to solve addition, subtraction, multiplication and division calculations.
Topic
The children created drawings of pottery inspired by ‘the Beaker folk’. The children were also lucky enough to have a visit from the Fire Brigade. They had the opportunity to operate the hose and explore the fire engine. It was great fun!
