Town Planning and Shadow science

Mrs Divall and Mrs Zaayman - 13 Jun 2018

We have had a busy week in Year 3.  We have been planning and producing amazing leaflets to attract tourists to Southend.  In maths, we have been practising telling the time - particularly on analogue clock faces which some of us are still finding really quite tricky so please pratise this at home!

We have been contiuing our graffiti on our wall, it's starting to look great!  We will continue this over the course of the next couple of weeks.

We are learning how our shadows change as time passes throughout the day and have drawn around our shadows to measure this change when the sun allows us to!

We have spent the afternoon as town planners.  We have built a Brady city complete with a zoo, hospital, Tower Bridge, Big Ben and railroad, train station plus lots more.
