Miss Booth - 27 Jun 2025

Well done for another great week year 3!

This week the pupils completed their assessments and all pupils have worked really hard so well done!

In English this week, the pupils completed their Newspaper report about Boudicca's rebellion. Pupils used prepositions, suffixes and prefixes. Next week pupils will be starting to write their recount about their visit from a Roman. Pupils will be learning; apostrophes for possession, past tense verbs, time connectives and writing in chronological order.

In maths, pupils have started their new topic ‘statistics’. They have been using data to complete tally charts and pictograms. They will continue this topic next week.

In DT this week pupils planned their structure for a greenhouse and they used jelly sweets and cocktail sticks to make a 3-D structure. Next week we will be making our own greenhouse using recycled materials. Please bring in any recycled materials you have at home!
