W/C 16/06

Miss Booth - 20 Jun 2025

Well done for a great week everyone!

In English this week we began looking at newspaper reports and planning our own. We have explored the use of different features of a newspaper report such as prepositions, prefix and suffixes to write up our drafts and final draft next week.

In Maths this week the pupils have been completing the unit 'shape'. We looked at 3D shapes and how to make one. Next week we will be moving on to 'statistics'.

In science this week, we used our putty inventions from last week to investigate if they can be used to create moulds. Next week we will be creating foam slime and oobleck.

Assessment week is next week. Pupils will be doing their assessments;
Monday - Spelling and Grammar
Tuesday - Reading
Wednesday - Maths

Thank you to all parents/carers who attended sports day! All the children had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
