English 
This week in English we have been learning how to use inverted commas and how to use a dictionary invereted commas and how to use a dictionary. The children enjoyed creating dialogue between the stone age boy and Om and they enjoyed putting words in alphabetical order. 

Maths 
In maths this week the children have been learning how to add numbers across 100 using exchanging. 

Science
During science this week we recapped our learning from this term and created a scientific poster. 

Diwali
On Monday the whole took part in Diwali afternoon. Mrs Degun and Mrs Shah delivered an assembly for KS1 and KS2 where the children learnt more about Diwali. In the afternoon Year 3 created Rangoli patterns using tissue paper. 

Notices 
Please make sure you're reading with your child 5 times a week so we can regularly change their levelled book. Please remember to only write the levelled book in the reading record. 

Children must be accessing TTRS 5 times a week. Please make sure children are doing this and if you have any difficulties please speak to the class teacher.
