Welcome back everyone. It has been lovely to see all the children bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to start our final term!
In English we have been looking at the features of a recount. The children have been identifying these ready for recounting our Roman Day.
In maths we have begun looking at mass by starting with using scales. This was a little bit tricky but the children worked really hard.
In History we have started our Roman Era - Emperors and Empires. We had a wonderful day being trasported back in time by Gary from Portals to the Past. The children engaged with chariot racing, battles and looked at some artefacts. It was a brilliant day and the children all behaved beautifully.
In science we are studying plants this half term. This started with us planting our seeds to start an experiment. We are investigating whether plants will grow without sunlight.
