It's been a fantastic start to our new half term.
We are already completing our first English unit - Kenning Poems. The children did a fantastic job of using onamatopeoia, alliteration, nouns and verbs. Our next unit is writing a persuasive writing.
In maths we have been using column method ,crossing the ten and the hundred.
Our science unit is forces and magnets. The children have been learning about push and pull, contact and non-contact forces.
Our geography lessons have been popular this half term! Grid references, cardinal and intercardinal points. The children have fantastic map reading skills!
