It's been another quick week here in Year 3. We've moved on from our persuasive texts in English to a formal letter. We are writing a letter to King Charles III to congratulate him on his coronation, the children have requested that we send the letters in the post to see if we get a reply.
In maths we have been looking at money and are now focussing on time. The children would benefit from reading the time at home as often as possible, particularly analogue clocks.
In science we have learnt more about plants. It has been lovely to hear that the children are paying more attention to the plants at home. We enjoued going into the Reception garden to try and spot stomata on the underside of the leaves.
Our musical talents have been put to the test in our music lesson. We have been singing He's got the Whole World in his Hands and playing the glockenspiels.
