We've got stuck into Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this week. The children have been doing some great work with retrieval and inference during our Shared Reading lessons.
In English we have been using our recount skills and are looking forward to writing up a recount about our trip to Rainham Hall this coming week.
In maths we have moved onto properties of shapes. We have been learning about obtuse and acute angles this week, the children have been doing incredibly well.
In RE we focussed on Jewish prayer and they all brought home the Torah scrolls they made in class with some Hebrew lettering inside.
Don't forget our class trip to Rainham Hall this Tuesday 21st June - please ensure your child has a hat to wear and has applied some suncream.
