W/C 7th March 2022

Mrs Staples - 11 Mar 2022

Year 3 have had a great week.

In English we finished our non-chronological reports about rocks and the Earth's crust. The children gathered lots of information and carefully followed the success criteria to finish their work. I have read some fantastic reports!

In maths we carried on learning about measuring using mm, cm and m. We moved onto perimeter which the children really enjoyed. Next week we will begin our new unit - fractions.

We learnt more about rocks during science and geography. We focused on fossils and plate tectonics. I have asked the children to start thinking of some questions to ask our Skype a Scientist expert in a couple of weeks time, we will be focusing on fossils and the sea bed during our session.

Have a great weekend!
