The children have worked extremely hard this week and have been really enthusiastic about our new English unit, Kenning Poems. This coming week we will be writing our own, all about Christmas.
We have continued to develop our multiplication and division skills in maths and I've been really impressed with the childrens recall, don't forget to ask your child what the commutative law is!
During science we conducted a class experiment about friction, the children all made some great predictions about which material would create the most resistance.
We had a lovely afternoon exploring Rainham Village on Google Street Maps. We located some key land marks and they all drew their own maps.
We have also started our Christmas arts and crafts, the festive bunting they all coloured has really brightened up 3S!
