What a fantastic half term Year 3 have had!
We learnt all about prehistory - the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. The children built Biscuit Henge, made their own Stone Age jewellery from clay and wrote their own Stone Age narrative.
We recapped place value in maths and have been doing lots of addition and subtraction using hundreds, tens and ones. We will continue with the same unit into our next half term.
The children have also had their first half term of learning French and have been doing fantastically well!
Next half term we will be focusing on geography and looking specifically at the UK.
I am very proud of how well Year 3 have settled back into school life at Brady after such a turbulent 18 months and they should be very proud of themselves too!
