Maths
This week in maths we have been looking at fact families, writing numbers in words and numerals as well as organising numbers on a number line.
English
In English this week we have continued to look at instructions. We have begun writing our own instructions for our favourite sandwich using key grammatical features. There have been some very interesting sandwich combinations!
Shared Reading
In shared reading this week we have started reading The Iron Man. The children made some fantastic predictions about what they thought The Iron Man would be about based on an image of the front cover.
Science
In our science lessons we have been learning about the different parts of the body. This week we have focused on voluntary and involuntary muscles and the skeleton. The children did a great job of locating the different muscles in the arms and legs!
