This week, Year 3 have created a story board of the Stone Age Boy story and they considered how he might have been feeling throughout the story. They have also been learning how to effectively edit their writing, making appropriate changes to improve it.
Maths
At the beginning of the week, they recapped finding equivalent fractions. They then moved onto statistics where they gathered data and presented this as pictograms using keys. Finally, they answered questions about the pictograms, considering which mode of transport was the most or least popular.
Topic
The children compared the changes of tools, settlements and art throughout the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.
