Year 3 Week 4

03 Oct 2019

Literacy
This week Year 3 have been gathering ideas for their advert scripts. They have been very enthusiastic and excited about creating the end product. They have been identifying the features of a script and comparing different examples. Next week they will be planning their scripts in preparation for a ‘hot write’.

Maths
The children have been working really hard to apply their skills that they learned last week to answer missing number problems. Extra practice will be sent home this week with your child. Next week we will be focusing on multiplication.

Topic
At the beginning of the week, the children worked well in groups to create a PowerPoint presentation about food groups during their computing lesson. In Science they began to learn about endoskeletons, exoskeletons and hydrostatic skeletons.
